JoomlaDevUser is now online!!!

JoomlaDevUser is a site about Joomla extension development. It is intended to be a place with resources for those who want to start developing extensions for the Joomla CMS.

The site is starting with a tutorial about component development in Joomla, which is divided in three parts. In the first part you'll be explained how to do the frontend of a component. In the second part, you'll be given an extensive walkthrough on how to do the backend for a component. Finally, the third part explains how to build the component's installation package (this part is not available yet).

The whole reason for JoomlaDevUser's existence is the lack of quality and detail of other tutorials available throughout the web. And the idea here is that you can participate, criticize and give your opinion so that the resources can have the best quality possible.

Currently, the there must be several typos (if you find some, let me know: b1ix (at) joomladevuser.com), and the code indentation is far from the one I would like it to be.

As soon as I can I'll update the tutorials (hopefully by then I'll have some input from JoomlaDevUser's readers to help me out).
